Meet James, Head of Security

About James Edema

“I am Edema James a husband and father of three children. In my home we are five. My wife, our three children and I.

I come from the northern part of Uganda, particularly from the Arua District. My education level, I completed ordinary level of which I have a certificate. After the ordinary level, I joined I.S.S company, a security group in Jinja in 2006 for training and worked with them for nine years. After resigning from I.S.S Company in Jinja, I joined Cherish Uganda on 6/1/2015 and currently my role at Cherish is to lead and manage the security team. I also protect the lives and properties of the organization. My favorite part of my role is knowing different people and having made friends with them. At Cherish, I have grown spiritually when am doing my work.

My favorite food is pork and chicken. My favorite quote is in the book of James chapter 1:19-20 “Every one should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires”
