ARV Supply & Medical Support at Risk
We want to share a critical update with you regarding the recent executive order that halted U.S. foreign development assistance funding. While Cherish does not receive direct financial support from USAID, we rely on PEPFAR-funded programs to provide essential medical supplies—including Antiretroviral (ARV) medication—for our clients.
Praying for Protection Amid Funding Challenges
A newly issued Executive Order has frozen all U.S. foreign development assistance funding for 90 days as part of an evaluation process. While Cherish Uganda does not receive any U.S. government funding directly, we do depend on USAID, through the PEPFAR Fund, to receive Antiretroviral (ARV) medication for all of our HIV/AIDS clients.
