Season of Giving with Charles
Mr. Kenneth Katungisa taught me how to be generous. During the course of my high school, it reached a time when my parents could no longer pay my school dues. During my Form two second term holiday, there’s a richman’s home where I went to work(cut down a tree), I accomplished my work as instructed.

“Generosity” used to be just a word that I knew but didn’t understand. Luckily I got to know the true meaning of it when I got a foster Mother. She gave me time, gifts and much more but most importantly her attitude towards giving made me fall in love with giving too! She said “ giving makes both me happy and the one I am giving.”

I learned giving from the community that I live in and that is Cherish Uganda, Cherish Uganda gives expecting nothing, doing it to God but even times as we people we give expecting in return and it gave me a big lesson that giving is not all about expecting.
Season of Giving with Kathleen Spillman
Giving of my time was an easy thing for me. We didn't have a lot of money in our early years, so when I gave of my time, I felt like I was participating in whatever the cause was- ie. kids schools, ministry, missions, etc. I learned to give financially by observing others in the church give. I wasn't raised with that focus, so when I became surrounded by others who truly lived it out, I grew to trust and love the privilege of giving financially as a form of worship. Now it's the greatest honor to be able to.
